Unveiling of ergonomic trapezoid form factor optimizes business conferencing so all participants can finally be seen, heard and fully engaged
Bloomfield, CT— March 22, 2022 —Salamander Designs, a leader in the A/V electronics and technology furniture marketplace since 1992, today unveiled the Infiniti™ Table series, a complete lineup of the most modern enterprise meeting tables that accommodate groups of 6 to 14 and provide a dynamic, optimized video conference experience via an inventive trapezoidal shape. Featuring design-museum-quality and artful styling, the new Infiniti Table brings an exciting look and functionality to any conference or meeting room and is configured so that all meeting attendees can be immersed in every video conference event equally. Along with the groundbreaking style, all wiring and power can be hidden away in the Infiniti Table pedestal.
Born of a recent partnership between Cisco and Salamander Designs to enhance Cisco’s Webex Room Panorama, and now available to all integrators and designers, the new Infiniti Tables are supported by an exclusive, sculpted steel pedestal base that employs a unique extruded aluminum frame system. The new table shape and solution provides today’s most seamless Webex Room Panorama experience to make it feel as if everyone is in the same room in a hybrid meeting. Also achieving official Cisco Certification, the striking design accommodates Cisco plus any unified communications (UC) system and technology to take today’s business meetings and collaboration to a more personal and involved level. The cable infrastructure traverses the entire length of the table and spans top to bottom where the pedestal reaches the floor. Participants can meet and work without distracting cables, cords and other equipment. Optional brackets can attach to the frame rails to allow installation of power distribution units or other peripherals neatly below table.
Meticulously designed, the new, organic geometric shape assures that everyone seated at the table can see, hear and engage as well as be seen, heard and feel fully part of the interaction, wherever they are. All aspects of the Infiniti Table were developed and hand crafted to be ideal for today’s prevalent connected meetings. Even the dove gray surface finish was carefully selected to enhance video conferencing and eliminate distractions. Other premium details include a 3-layer, robust edge and sizes to accommodate from 6 to 14 people.
